New Calendar for 2023 – Fall Colors around Morgantown

New Calendar for 2023 – Fall Colors around Morgantown

Last year I produced a calendar for the Morgantown area (which is still available for 2023) but this year we had had such a lovely fall that I decided to produce a calendar just of fall color photographs from around Morgantown – mostly from Cheat Lake and Coopers Rock. It’s my plan to take a broader sweep around the area next year – this year the weather was really nice, but I went down with RSV – the virus that small children normally get. Still, I was lucky to get some good images before it hit me!

The calendars are available in two sizes. Letter size, which is the most popular, and also as a jumbo 11×14 inch calendar. They are printed on demand and shipped directly to your home. You can also choose the binding – a wire binding is best for hanging straight, but you could choose a stapled approach which would avoid having those holes in the paper if you wanted to frame one of the images later.

You can see all the images here, scroll sideways or click on an individual image for a larger preview.

So don’t wait too long before ordering – the holiday season will be here before you know it!

You will find the Fall Colors Calendar here. My original Morgantown calendar updated for 2023 is available here. I have a Kauai calendar available here. And, of course, you can find my images of Morgantown available in my portfolio for wall art with free shipping, a 30-day money back guarantee and a 10% discount through November!

  1. Great set of images you’ve got there for the calendar. I like them all and so should your customers who purchase them.

    1. Thanks Bill – and I added all the images to the post

  2. Wonderful collection of images Steve! Well done! The calendar looks great!

    1. Thanks Alexios! All I need to do now is get it in front of people!

  3. Wow – what a great wide angle shot! And I say “wide angle” in terms of composition, not necessarily focal length. It’s a photo opportunity that would not have been obvious to me. Nice work.

    1. It was actually 24mm, but I know what you mean. I was deliberately going for that “island” look and this choice of lens made it look real. Good job it was wide enough as I didn’t have a wider angle lens with me!

    1. Thanks Louis – yes, I was pleased with my efforts this year!

  4. I’ve never done a calendar, though I get an image or two included in our astronomy club’s calendar every year. Maybe I’ll try one next year. Yours look lovely.

    1. Yes, they are relatively easy to make once you get the hang of the site. The one I use here is pretty quick – the hardest part is choosing the images!

  5. I am glad you weren’t down long with that virus, and it didn’t seem to hinder you too much. The colors you’ve captured are just lovely.

    1. I did miss about 10 days of really nice weather when I could have captured quite a few new images, but I did pretty well! Thanks!
